Annual Ryegrass
An annual variety of ryegrass that is used for hay or pasture mixe
Production potential and its overall vigor is much less than the Tetraploid Annual Ryegrass

Crown Royale Orchardgrass
Variety that is a medium-late maturing orchardgrass with high nutritional value, good disease resistance, excellent palatability, and good forage yield

Fawn Tall Fescue
A variety of Tall Fescue that has been developed to provide superior performance in seed and forage production, increased nutrients, digestibility, and improved seedling vigor
This variety also has very low endophytes
Planting Rate Per Acre: Alone 20-25 lbs; In a Mix 4-10 lbs Planting Depth ¼”Kentucky Fawn Tall Fescue

Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue
A deep-rooted perennial bunchgrass that is widely adapted to various soil types
Is tolerant to summer drought but makes its best growth in the spring and late fall
Fescue can create problems when pasturing due to endophyte (fungus).

Linn Perennial Ryegrass
Not as vigorous or productive as the Tetraploids
Is used primarily in lawn and pasture mixes

Moretim brand TimothyMoretim Timothy
A tall, fine stemmed, and quite leafy; leaves are carried high on the stems
Matures 7 to 10 days later than common timothy
A vigorous, heavy producer under good fertility
Recovers quickly and is highly resistant to rust
Widely used short-lived perennial; used mainly for hay
Produces a very palatable hay, but is low in protein and some minerals
Especially desirable in a mixture with legumes such as red clover and alsike
Planting Rate Per Acre: Alone 7-10 lbs; In a Mix 2-6 lbs
Planting Depth ¼” - ½”

Nordic BromegrassBromegrass
This variety of bromegrass is carefully selected from the best lots to give high purity and high germination seed
Is a hardy perennial and sod forming grass
Has considerable drought resistance and grows until late fall when moisture is available
Will also stand one or two floods in the spring
Can be seeded alone or in mixtures and is especially recommended as a mixture with alfalfa
Planting Rate Per Acre: Alone 20-25 lbs: In a Mix 6-12 lbs Planting Depth ¼”

Potomic Orchardgrass
Early variety of orchardgrass that is very productive and persistent
Also has good rust resistance.

Quick Draw Orchardgrass
Variety was selected for its superior yields, palatability, and
resistance to leaf and stem rust
Provides excellent early spring forage for grazing silage or hay
Is adapted to the Midwest, Northwest and Northeast regions of the United States

Super–Graze OrchardgrassSupergraze Orchardgrass
Medium maturing orchardgrass suited for pasture and hay
Excellent pest resistance and high yields
A tall perennial bunch grass
Should be mixed with other grasses and legumes for best results
Sometimes used for hay, but is preferred for pastures when seeded in a mixture because of its early and late season growth
Not as winter hardy as bromegrass, but will stand more heat, drought, and low fertility to provide more summer growth
Planting Rate Per Acre for orchardgrass: Alone 10-12lbs; In a Mix 4-6 lbs Planting Depth ¼”

Tetraploid Annual Ryegrass
Has a history of good performance in a wide range of climates
The seed is large, which improves seedling vigor
Compared to annual ryegrass, it has greater seedling vigor, darker green color, wider leaves, more production, and a longer grazing season
Is an excellent choice for hay or pasture mixes

Tetraploid Perennial Ryegrass
Has demonstrated good disease resistance, hearty seedling vigor, and superior yields
Superior to diploid ryegrasses because scientists have genetically doubled the chromosomes to increase the leafiness and carbohydrate content; the result is a more palatable and nutritious forage
Planting Rate Per Acre for Ryegrasses: Alone 25-35 lbs; In a Mix 10-20 lbs Planting Depth ¼”

Waterway & Grassland Mix
Mixture of five grasses is superior to seeding straight bromegrass because of quick establishment and longevity
The four other grasses will germinate quickly and hold the soil until the Bromegrass becomes established
Excellent all purpose grass mix
Waterway & Grassland Mix contains:  (33% Nordic Bromegrass, 17% OroVerde Tetraploid Perennial Ryegrass, 17% Fawn Tall Fescue, 17% Tetrastar Tetraploid Annual Ryegrass, 16% Moretim Timothy)
Planting Rate Per Acre: 25 to 50 lbs.

Waterway & Grassland Pre-Mix with Oats
Consists of 30% Waterway & Grassland Mix (see above) and 70% oats
Planting Rate Per Acre: 80-100 lbs
