third generation owner / manager. Naylor Seed is a Regional Retail / Wholesale
distributor, with a dealer network of over 150 dealers throughout Eastern Iowa.

of oats that serve as a base for many of our other products, years of
development and testing go into each variety to insure outstanding performance. Ongoing on farm testing is the true test of products, Naylor Seed works
to go head to head with competitors products. Price competitive products at a
reasonable cost are imperative to continued customer satisfaction.

product line. To bring the cutting
edge seed technology to the customer, and still provide the family business
atmosphere.

Naylor Seed has a complete seed cleaning line, handling
everything from native grasses, to beans & oats. Also a custom built blending system for grasses and forages,
allowing Naylor Seed to custom blend individual customer orders usually within
2-24 hours. Naylor Seed has a grower program that allows them to have more
control over seed production and handling than many of the larger companies.

Operation:
Company
direction and control is handled by David Naylor, with the assistance of his
father Jerry. Day to day operations are directed by Greg R. Guilford, the
operations manager, with sales and dealer contacts handled by Dennis McCall. Merlin Brown handles warehouse operations, and inventory.
Because
of the family orientation of the business, team meetings among the staff are
ongoing and informal. Allowing input from all sides to top management. With a
low profile management style, It
allows Naylor Seed to proactively change with the market place and farming
operations quickly and effectively.

include our Bloomcoat Mix, Country Magic Mix, and the availability of purchasing individual species. We
have a network of suppliers, commercial growers, and distributors that provide our native
grasses and wildflowers. So most wildflower or native grasses are available on a per
order basis.
Other Seeds are available on a per order basis, such
as flax, etc.
